You can now embed a blog as long as you use the HTTPS:// URL. My OwossoBob blog is mapped to my domain and since it has a HTTP:// URL it earlier would not embed. UPDATE: We can now turn on https redirect for mapped blogs. See https://support.google.com/blogger/answer/6284029
