Bicycle Photo Scavenger Hunt & Picnic

The public is invited to the Shiawassee Arts Center's first Bicycle Photo Scavenger Hunt & Picnic on Sunday, September 29. It's bound to be a super fun, challenging and yet also family-friendly event! Bring your bike, camera, your family and friends and test your knowledge of Owosso. We will give you a map and clues when you register between 1:00 and 1:30pm. You may race or meander at your own pace within a 4-mile radius searching for items. Family distance will be within a 1.5 mile radius. Expect to ride 1-2 hours depending on the length of your "hunt", your street smarts, speed and determination.

Return to the Arts Center for some good ol' celebrating from 2-4pm for a picnic lunch with root beer floats, some sweet raffle prizes, yummy silent auction items including a Nirve Coca-Cola Bicycle from the House of Wheels (which will also be displaying some of their antique bikes), a 50/50 drawing and even some fun games. Prizes will be awarded and all participants will receive a free gift. Festivities will go on rain or shine. Join us for the Bike Hunt and Picnic at $25/person --- children 6-12 $12.50 and 5 and under free and must be accompanied by an adult OR join us for the Picnic only 2-4pm at $15/person --- children 6-12 $7.50 and 5 and under free.

The Shiawassee Arts Center is located at 206 Curwood Castle Drive in Owosso and is open Tuesday through Sunday, 1-5pm.
