Did you know that the internationally famous, Owosso-born impressionist artist, FREDERICK C. FRIESEKE (1874-1939) lived right next door to CLAUDE MONET in Giverny, France for 20 years?
This early original watercolor painting of a Dutch woman, signed and dated F.C. Frieseke, Holland, 1899, could be yours if you are the high bidder!
The painting, along with work by two dozen other artists including Gordon Graham, Peggy Reimel Abrams and Randall Higdon, is up for auction thru December 18th in the Shiawassee Arts Center's 28th Annual Holiday at the Center.
